Interesting video, but I don’t think back tension releases should be considered only as a cure for target panic. They should be considered as an aid to good shooting form in their own right
I feel a problem with the release you were demonstrating is that it tends to encourage the archer to use the biceps rather than the dorsal muscles to activate the release, which works against good form
I like the articles I have seen on here, but what about using a trigger release as a back tension. I have been shooting one for quite a long time as a back tension. If pulling with the back muscles then target panic is resolved. a simple hook of the finger on the front of the trigger and pull straight back it will go off. I believe its all back tension no matter what release you use.
