Coaching Story

I began working with Alistair way back in 2005 when I first swapped from recurve to compound. Soon after beginning compound I developed target panic, to such an extent that Alistair still says today it was the worst case he’s ever seen. It took me nearly 2 years to recover from this psychological set back in my archery career, but through Alistair’s help and a lot of hard work I over came my target panic and could once again aim at the gold. Since then I have been working with Alistair on a regular basis throughout the year and my scores have always be on a constant up. I have now reached the highest point in my archery career to date, representing Great Britain at a Junior International Level winning numerous medals including a Gold medal at the Junior European Championships in Denmark during July 2012. I have also had successes at International Senior Level making it through to the 3rd round at Face2Face Amsterdam 2012 finishing in the top 24 and also, Finishing 4th at Back2Back UK 2012. I hope to continue these successes through Alistair’s help and one day reach Professional Senior Level!
